Our Philosophy
Philosophy
Kiddy Academy Parkes is committed to creating a nurturing, Inclusive and Dynamic environment where every child is valued, respected and empowered to reach their fullest potential. Our philosophy is grounded in the belief that children have the right to learning through play in an environment where they have the opportunity to be active, curious and capable learners who thrive when provided with the chance to explore, question and engage with the world around them.
We as educators embrace a play-based learning approach recognising that play is the foundation of development. Through both structured and unstructured play experiences, children develop critical thinking skills, creativity, social competence and emotional resilience. Our educators foster a positive and supportive atmosphere where children feel safe, secure and supported to express themselves, take risks and make meaningful connections with others.
We value each child’s individuality and work collaboratively with families and our community to ensure each child’s cultural, social and emotional needs are met. We recognise that children come from diverse backgrounds and that these differences enrich our learning community. We strive to create an environment where all children feel a sense of belonging and are encouraged to celebrate their uniqueness while developing empathy and respect for others.
We believe that families are the child’s first and most important teachers. We actively engage with families, building partnerships based on open communication, trust, and mutual respect. This partnership ensures that every child’s learning journey is supported both at home and within the Kiddy Academy environment.
Our educators are committed to continuous professional development to better meet the needs of every child. We engage in reflective practice, regularly assessing and improving our teaching methods to ensure they remain child centred and responsive. By staying current with the best practices in early childhood education we refine our skills in facilitating play-based learning to support holistic education.
Kiddy Academy Parkes fosters a nurturing, inclusive environment where children thrive through play-based learning. We value individuality, partnership with families, and continually grow to support each child’s potential.
